Contracts are now Agreements, with expiration tracking

What’s New

Contracts have a new name: Agreements. Listing agreements, buyer agency agreements, leases and purchase & sale agreements all live in one place now, and the ones with a term show you when they expire. The Purchase & Sale Agreement type is what used to be called “the contract”.

Agreements everywhere

  • The sidebar, record tabs, settings and automations now say Agreements. In settings, Contract Types is now Agreement Types.
  • Old links still work. Bookmarks, emails and notifications that point to a /contracts page take you to the matching agreement.
  • Each Agreement Type has an Agreement kind (Listing, Buyer agency, Short time frame, Lease, Purchase & sale, Referral or Other). The kind decides which fields an agreement gets and whether its expiration is tracked. If you leave it on “Detect from name”, we work it out from the type’s name.

Terms and expiration on the contact’s Agreements tab

  • Listing, buyer agency, short time frame and lease agreements record their terms: signed date, start and expiration dates, price range or list price, commission and notes.
  • Each one shows its status and a countdown to expiration, so you can see at a glance which are active, expiring soon or expired.
  • 14 days before an agreement expires, the assigned agent gets a renewal task.
  • Expiration alerts pause once the client is under contract or pending, so you won’t get reminders for a deal that’s already moving.

Agreements board

  • Cards show when each agreement expires and the commission.
  • New agreement asks which agreement type to start with, then opens the form with that type already picked.

Agreement Reports, rebuilt

  • Choose and rearrange the summary tiles you care about.
  • See results By Agent, or browse All Agreements in one list.
  • Export any report to CSV.
  • Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) and type an agreement’s name to jump straight to it.
