Enterprise email domains can be locked to the enterprise

When a brokerage or lender signs on as an enterprise, Sure Send staff can now lock its email domain (for example @brokerage.com) to the enterprise account. The lock takes effect as soon as it is saved.

For anyone with an email on a locked domain:

  • Signing up with email and password, Google or Apple needs an invite from the enterprise: an invite to one of its branches, an enterprise admin invite, or a branch claim invite. Without one, the sign-up page explains that the domain is managed by the enterprise and to ask their administrator for an invite.
  • They can’t create a new team, restore a backup into a new standalone team, or join a team outside the enterprise. Restoring a branch’s backup creates the new team inside the same enterprise.
  • Someone removed from their last branch sees a “You’re not on a team right now” page naming the enterprise, instead of getting an empty team.
  • Existing accounts keep working, and existing teams outside the enterprise are kept as they are.

On each enterprise account, staff get a Locked domains section. It lists each domain with its blocked sign-up attempts over the last 30 days, and has a report of locked-domain users on teams outside the enterprise, with Claim, Attach and Exempt actions. Staff can also exempt individual people. Public email domains such as Gmail can never be locked, and shared franchise domains such as kw.com show a warning before they can be locked.
